I am very satisfied with my new Kobra S1, it prints really well, and so far I have had no problems with it.
It is good and fast, but few things would make more sense:
1) I'm using Orca slicer for all my printers, and this one is not compatible ... for now - I hope :)
2) Its not that clog-free. Running it 24/7 back to back prints, had to remove nozzle 3 times already - just installed new hotend, maybe it will help. Full metal would have been better.
3) Haven't tried combo yet, so no feedback on it.
Just got the Anycubic Kobra Combo a few weeks ago and I’m really impressed. Setup was super easy and took maybe 30 minutes and I was printing right away. The auto bed leveling is awesome and saves so much time. I haven’t had to mess with the bed at all since the first setup.
Prints look great right out of the box. I’ve tried PLA and PETG so far, and both worked with no issues. The details are good, and the prints stick well to the bed.
The touchscreen is easy to use and the Ace Pro has a built in heater!
Overall, I think the Kobra S1 Combo is a solid printer, especially for the price. It’s beginner friendly but still has enough features to grow with you. Definitely happy with my purchase.
Awesome. With this printer, I've stopped struggling and arguing with filament machines. It's from the future!
I received a spool of Anycubic PLA Matte for free — big thanks for that! First impressions are very positive: nicely packaged, vacuum-sealed with a desiccant inside. The filament looks great — consistent diameter, smooth winding, and a pleasant matte finish with no excessive shine. I haven’t printed with it yet, but based on the appearance and feel, I expect it to perform well. I’ll test it soon but so far, I’m impressed!
