Seems good quality for what i have printed now, newbie at 3D printing so mistakes is prolly on my side have had the printer anycubic kobra s1 for 14 days learning the craft, printing like there is no tomorrow
I've had this printer for over 6mo now, and during this time it printed 3 complete cosplay costumes from head to toe + props, attachments for my airsoft rifles and many other small and medium sized objects. After 6 months of massive labour I had to change the hot end (also bought spares). The printer is incredible for this price. However, regular maintenance is required to keep it in top shape (bed cleaning, dusting everything inside, cleaning and lubricating rods).
90% of failures are due to human error. I've had prints fail because of that. Otherwise it worked as it should.
My only gripe is the ACE module. This AMS already broke buffer #1 after a couple of days. You have to feed the new filament in as straight as possible otherwise it will wind it inside the AMS. However, it is an AMS and even tho I don't do multi colour prints, having an enclosed space for the filament spools AND drying is massive.
BTW, this AMS goes easy on the extruder, you don't rely on just that tiny wheel to pull filament since the AMS is feeding it. If a spool is done, the printer will use up all the filament then ask for a replacement while pausing the print. Man, this thing rocks!
P.S. I'll be upgrading to an S1 Max soon, this guy needs a friend lmao
Impressora com qualidade maravilhosa, recomendo muito. Chegou tudo certo e muito bem embalado. Fácil de usar. Gostaria apenas que tivesse aplicacao pra Linux.
Up and printing within 30 minutes of unpacking.
45 hours of printing so far without a single fault
